Well, I was TRYING to get going by 3am so I'd be home by noon.......

It is now 10am and I have awakened from a world class rhinoceros sleep.

I better get a move on. Six hours to the house.

 

Merry Christmas to my concrete compadres.

I will be trucking over the holidays for a better future for me and the Mrs.

I should add that I'm not doing it out of the goodness of my heart.

I'm sitting in the driver's seat of my white Volvo, sipping coffee, sun streaming through the windshield, climate control perfectly balanced, full belly, morning greetings dispatched to Missus Skillet via text (in case she's still asleep; bit of a night owl, that one), and.......

I'm so comfortable, I don't want to start driving.
