What if it Snows?

    Sorry, but I can't even answer that.
    For me it is for duals, except steers.
    We in BC have different rules than many other provinces.
    Like no lift axles allowed.
    We don't run 8 tires on a trailer axle, just 4.
    Because I rarely leave BC in a semi truck, and when I do its to go to somewhere with more relaxed rules than our own, I am only familiar with BC regulations.
    Those numbers i posted are pretty much worse case scenario for weight allowed. If running big balloons on the front, and 20,000 lb front end, you can add a bit more to those weights. I would rather post the worse, than say for example that you can run 111,000 lbs on 6 axles, someone reads it, and then comes to BC and gets in trouble because they don't have a 20k front end, and also haven't put the weight far enough ahead.
    When i haul logs i am usually 110,000 to 112,000. But pulling anything else but logs, i am only allowed 107,000 on 6 axles. Once i get my newer T800 I'll be allowed more weight, if i get some more on my steers. But I don't plan to max out my steers in the bush, because it pounds the front end out of a truck in no time, and the alignment gets knocked out all the time. I know this from talking to all the other guys regularly who have done it.
    My new truck will be an odd combination of 20k lb front axle, for its strength. But only on 16k lb springs, not 20k.
    And my tires on the front are in between normal skinny steers, and full balloons. My goal is to aim for around 14k to 15k lbs on my steers loaded.
    So I'll be legal about 109k to 110k lbs on 6 axles, or about 115k lbs when logging, since as mentioned above, they allow us more weight if we are hauling logs.
    My trucks coming next summer, are all special order, and not what is considered normal spec.

    At times; here in MS, loads of soybeans, logs, and river run sand, don't mash on the road as heavy as other products do at other times.
    Now cattle; standing on 8 inches of wood shavings padding, should get some consideration. Weight laws are hard to understand. Best to avoid any contact up close and personal application of them.
