You and I may agree. Unfortunately that boy has most likely never seen a crane bigger than the ones they use to swap a.c. units on short office/industrial buildings.

He just hasn't seen enough of the outside world to understand our realities.

I'd give my left nut for one of those. They look sweet in black like that. Gotta be from the east coast I bet

Funny, I had to look this one up so googled "Tandem Jeep" and there is a Tandem Jeep Baby Stroller, but they did show the Tandem Jeep that Ya'll are talking about.

I see singles, tandems, and tri axle jeeps around somewhat regularly. Tandems are by far the most common in this area. Usually pulled by a tandem truck, but did see a tandem jeep on a tri drive a few weeks ago.
I didn't look very close, but imagine the 5th wheel is well ahead of center on the jeep.

Never had any desire to pull 14 plus axles as some folks do. Those who specialize in only heavy haul can mess with those.
My baby sister would rather haul equipment than anything else.
We all have a favorite, mine is logs.
I'm just glad to not pull van or reefer.

I did some reefer work hauling seedlings, I had three of them at one point. It was a good gig, you could stack boxes to the roof from front to back and never be close to your max weight. Stumbled into it when the highway haulers wouldn't carry tire chains to go into the blocks, the guys would deck them off on the high grade and refuse to take them in. One of the equipment contractors plowing the trails into the blocks suggested they call us to take them into the bush, then the Canfor company man said "well, can you guys run and pick them up from the nurseries as well?" You bet we can.

Hauling seedlings to the bush, that I would be happy doing.
Its the droning along the hwy all day, and then dealing with some jerks at both ends, I don't want any part of.
