I briefly considered buying used, then thought, nope. I don't need the wife calling me while I'm out on the road, "Hey, this thing won't start"

There wasn't much good stuff that I saw anyways. Someone was asking $3500 for a mid-nineties Honda that looked thoroughly beat. No thanks.

Running into the same up here but with the 2 wheel tractor. All the Yuppies (or whatever current terminology is) doing the hobby farm thing sucked the supply chain to empty. Trying to save a buck I called all the distributors along the northern 200 miles of I5 in OR all they had (if they had any stock) was the smallest varieties. And most had no attachments. So much for saving the sales tax...... Local guy had one of the 4 power units that I wanted and 2 attachments from my priority list. So he got the sale. Flail mower may arrive in the March/April time frame. After just clearing the drive with the box blade, may have to tell him to order the snow blower for next year.

As info: Crock Pot for cooking. Crack Pipe for smoking.
Though the 8 hour timer on the pot certainly adds to the enjoyment of the pipe.

Used to be a pry/tool bar. Tapered round like your iron worker but a formed half round knuckle/key puller on other end. Very handy on farm equipment.
