But those cold showers are invigorating, and really wake you up. ;)

So I believe I finally made it to super trucker today. Yanked 4 forklifts on my flatbed up the hill and with the stupid winds on the hill and east of Reno got a whopping 5.8 mpg for the trip. Yep I'm a super trucker now.

Yes, I have heard that. My experience has been more toward being advised of shower and hot water availability being conveyed verbally, not via text.
Just think it loses something in the transmission.

Hot water boiled on a wood stove, added to a steel tub filled with water drawn by the bucket, all set up in the middle of the kitchen. Having 2 sisters. Guess who got the last bath.

Is your gear shift at head height when you sit in the drivers seat?

If not, you can't be a super trucker.

    Indoor plumbing is completely underrated.
Turn a knob and heated water comes out of the wall. What’s not to like about that.

Hauling forklifts is a study in securement, as they differ so much by makes and models as to places to attach chains. We always used chains as usually
were well used and coming/going for repairs. A load of new, crank, run, drive on and drive off... A dream.

Fortunately these are used units so I can chain them how I like. Scratches don't matter much to this guy, wouldn't want to haul new stuff
