Just take the kettle off the stove and mix it in the bath, problem solved. We had to do it for a day until ours thawed out last week. Not the end of the world.

Same here, I’ve often thought about cutting mine down a bit. Easier on the rotator cuff. They’re just trying to look cool. They’re also very proud of being able to shift a manual. Must have took them a while to learn?? Goes well with a stupid saying on a Truckers T shirt. Like “ Do you even shift Dude?”. Yes it’s a real saying on a real T shirt being sold at Truckstops now. Too much time alone in a Truck sometimes affects the mind. Some become very self important, center of the Universe types. I’ve seen Trucking ruin a lot of folks personalities. Humble to Arrogant in no time. Me Me Me. That’s all they focus on. Everyone else is Stupid.

Different strokes for different folks. Just like some guys like to sit on the floor. Some guys like plastic trucks. Some guys like chrome. Some guys like the way it looks. I like things that look good, but they also have to function. I don't get half the crap guys spend money on. Why do the plastic truck guys buy the early warning system? Beats the heck outta me, but they obviously like it. Same with the tall shifter thing. Guys must like them. Why? Beats the heck outta me.

 

Sheejus. Man I am so sorry. I remember about a month ago you saying you and your wife came down with Covid at the same time my family did. Wish I had taken the time to reach out and ask how things were going. My sincere condolences. When everything gets turned upside down your kids will know, even in the face of the unspeakable, how fortunate they are to have a dad who did whatever was needed to be there for them. I'm so sorry man.
