My brother lives in Fredericksburg. It's still a mess. He drove his wife to work which is normally 20 minutes and it took them an hour.

I got routes heading from Chester, VA to Greensboro, NC but I pull a lot of doubles empty and mostly never weighing more than 10,000 pounds. Gonna look at roads and see how highways look to determine if I turn right back around.

Drivers stranded on I-95 for a few hours in Virginia = National Crisis

Drivers stranded in WHY-OH-MING for 3 days = Situation Normal

Clearly, the I-95 folks are better folks.

VDOT Traffic Cameras of 95 from Arthur Glen to Triangle don't look promising

I woke up this morning with what felt like a Freightliner parked on my chest! Angina pain almost made me start crying. Still scheduled weather permitting to have my heart roto rootered in the AM. Took some NITRO and feel a little better. I wish I had the energy to do this-----

I-64 west of Charlottesville was a mess late yesterday afternoon. Going back years I remember some bad situations on that road. Many fatal accidents caused by idiots on ice!

We often venture into the frozen waste lands. Too often in the past. Currently we're fortunate to be able to pick and choose our battles. There's several monster loads we let go, and boy are we glad.

Still need some more time to recharge. We are embarking shortly to do battle with one of the red tape monsters.

That National Weather Service thingy is not under rated.
