Speaking of weird stuff in the sky, this was at my house in south Alabama. I was laying there in bed when I heard what sounded like wind gusts. But... the air on the ground was absolutely still. I rolled back the footage on one of the security cameras to make sure I wasn't just hearing stuff.

Whatever it was didn't sound like jets, although I'm not too far away from Eglin AFB in Pensacola.

Put some headphones on and tell me what you think.

One of the problems is with cross boarder politics.

It is not legal to take a load say Anaheim up to Calgary, and then run a short load Calgary to B.C. and then B.C. south bound.

Just like If you were to grab one to Portland, OR. Then a load OR to Boise. Then North from Boise is not legal.

Both country have regs that when you cross the boarder and have to cross back directly. No running loads within the other country.

Since I had no good agents in Canada, scoring a load out of Canada that paid good was always a challenge. Would usually get a phone call just after I deadheaded back across the boarder.

From what i was told in training, the us carriers are allowed one trip up here before needing to move south.

The way i see it is that they always monkey with the rules so noone knows as things are in constant flux.
