On our trailers there's a filter in the line right near the front that always freezes off at the start of winter, can always tell if it's the culprit if when I hit the trailer supply button and the trailer air gauge immediately goes up to 120 psi instead of taking a few minutes to build up. A little shot of antifreeze usually clears it right up.

Never heard of a filter on a trailer. Have to check on that. It just released though. 1/2 bottle of alcohol did the trick. Maybe I’ll just stick with the alcohol. Get some more tomorrow.

It could have been in the valve above the trailer axles as well, there's a spool inside that jumps up when you dynamite the trailer to release the maxi springs but keep air in the tanks. Sometimes it will freeze shut not allowing air into the tanks. if the brakes release and the bags won't fill up, it's the little regulator on one of the auxiliary tanks that feeds the suspension.

I’ve seen that, Thanks. I just replaced all the cans, and the air bag that kicks the spring loaded anti dock walk. Lately they’re not working right. I need to get under there. My ABS lights on constantly, no codes. All new wiring. Except the one from pigtail to rear power cord. I’m thinking the ecm, or ecu, whatever it’s called. Thinking I should just replace the whole ecu/valve assembly. It’s the only thing that hasn’t been done.

. You’ve probably seen the styrofoam type tank inserts. Supposed to help against sweating.
