What if it Snows?

That’s what I wondered. Rather have that, then just a bunk heater. How long can it run without having to start the Truck, or use a generator?

 

Basically it is an APU system. The heat is a separate unit from the A/C system. It is powered by 4 batteries.
If just running heat, outside temps around 0 to 5 degrees, can run up to 10/12 hours most times.

 

It's a Honda EG2800i. I think I paid about $1200 for it. Puts out enough to run the mini-split, a 900 watt microwave, fridge and 35 amp inverter/charger simultaneously. The only thing I have to be careful of is using the coffee pot or microwave at the same time.

For the most part, it just idles, even with the AC on. Two gallon tank lasts about 10-12 hours.

 

I just missed all that crap. Jackson was just starting to get bad when I went through.

I was in one hell of a foul mood after dealing with all the non-driving booger eaters yesterday. Had one ######## that refused to move over for a trooper sitting on the left shoulder with a pickup truck rolled in the median. Blew his hat off and splashed him with slush.

I know if I was that trooper, I'd have had a hard time not doing a mag dump into that moron.

 

I had to have ham with my eggs yesterday.

Lexington, KY got 9 inches Thursday. I left there Sunday, the 2nd. Really glad I am in sunny Mississippi now.
