Haven’t you ever heard that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. 4 eraser wheels worth of work with the drill. You just worry about your clear coated fancy Peterbilt. I’ll worry about my raggedy old Freightliner, no primer paint peeling rattletrap. Lol. Thanks just the same My friend.

Lucky me. We had one ice cream drumstick left in freezer.

Unlucky me. I had to share with the great dane and my son. It wasn’t big enough for all three. I want another.

So a little more detail on this so called piece of junk Truck please. One mans Junk is another’s Treasure. Like my old arn, held together with zip ties, 4 drives at 6/32 tread, missing interior panels, bottom side covered in oil and grease. Totally abused and neglected. Yet somehow still has all original front end parts, rears, fifth wheel, slacks, and a radio distorted radio with blown speakers. She’s still a creampuff. Lol!

I have an unopened pint of locally made blueberry pie ice cream in the freezer.

I haven't eaten breakfast yet, however.

    Still drinking my coffee.

The WuFlu has my whole wake/sleep cycle out of whack.

OK, now I think it is a conspiracy! I got 5 women in my home now! Well, at least the smell coming out of my kitchen is good! I was told we are having heart-healthy spaghetti and meatballs tonight!

I once had some Lake Superior White fish, baked on a plank of wood. We were on Mackinac ( correct spelling) Island. It’s a specialty up there. A bit of a gamble, but I took a risk. It was one of the best fish dinners I’ve ever had. Just a tiny bit Smokey tasting. I was very surprised. Sometimes you just have to take chances in life, and live close to the edge. Lol.

Here’s the 2 drives I got on the way out. Another member of the forum had them. We both got a fair deal. Only another Trucker could appreciate such a thing. Lol. Now all I need is 4 more. Not sure yet. I may have 4 delivered to the door for $335 ea. Might find 2 more, and get new steers, Put mine on the drive. That way I have a steer, should one ever blow. Ive been doing it this way for a while. Originally out of necessity. Different size on Trailer, so I’ve been running old steers out on the drives. Average mileage about 270k per steer. I’ve only bought one set of drives since 2009. Otherwise it’s been used takeoffs for $125-$200 ea. Or old steers. Only really had 1 winter that tread was a little bit scary. I’m a believer in good tires. No caps. But when you have 18 to keep up with, it can be a PITA. Good used steers work great on the Trailer. I have bought a new set on each Trailer in 17 yrs. But that’s all. Sometimes if I need 1, and can’t find a decent used tire, I’ll buy 2 new ones, mounted together, and keep a good one for a spare, or till it’s needed. Sounds like a bigger hassle than it is. Keeping track of them closely, buying one occasionally from pocket money, has worked out well. It all adds up.

I wonder why? I’ve been spoiling my little Chihuahua since the other died. She’s been getting extra treats, and table foods. Got to stop it now, She’s already gained a bit, I noticed. It’s easy to do when you love them. Meaning well.
