    They had one that was like 120', actually two, working at the new dam in Tempe.

    We did the concrete.

    That thing was so freaking long, the operator took signals from a ground man at the midway point of the boom.

    He'd signal every move. A lot was to make sure it didn't get going sideways.

    I still got pics of that on my old phone. May have even posted them on ttr somewhere.

    They also had the biggest ditchwitch you've ever seen.

    It was LOL f big.

    I don't know what diameter the wheel was, but it was easily two of my mixer's. Thing was just f huge.

    That would be a long day running one of those and having to work off of signals.

    My son's father in law is an inspector on some big bank stabilization projects somewhere around Sacramento. He has taken my son out on some of the jobs and they had some huge long reaches on those as well. Mounted on 700 class machines or bigger.
