Who F knows. I know guys that have MG-42's and 60's. One dude has f M-2. My cousin has a French made 37mm anti tank gun. All I can tell you is when they come to take mine, we will be past that point of being concerned with what is legal.

The town owns the facility, so he works for them. The concessions and skate sharpening are run by contractors so he didn't have to do any of that starting out. He got hired on doing part time janitorial work when he was still in school, cleaning dressing rooms and bleachers etc as well as helping put the ice in as well as taking it out, running the Zamboni and changing blades. When he graduated they offered him a full time position and sent him to the required courses to become an ice making tech which involves running the refrigeration plant and keeping it going. It's a union job, the town pays for all his schooling and we take care of his accommodations and meals etc while he's away. He's a level 3 ice tech now, one more year of school and he'll be able to go anywhere he wants if he doesn't want to stick around here. The current manager is retiring soon, so they are grooming him to take over the town rec facilities. Things have changed a lot since my rink rat days, safety and all that. Back then, we had no idea about ammonia and how dangerous it is.
I've run and loaded just about every piece of equipment known to man, but I've never got to run a Zamboni. I'm a little jealous.LoSt_AgAiN, 77fib77, Oxbow and 9 others Thank this. -
