Interesting story about what happens when truckers don't make their deliveries. Empty Walmart shelves are a sobering reminder of how much we depend on truckers
That story speaks the truth. Not many people ever think about how stuff get to the stores for their everyday needs. Everything must be delivered and we are the evil drivers that must be controlled with more regulations....
Surprisingly, grocery prices in Wyoming are usually lower than in major cities, in my experience. Maybe that has something to do with taxes, labor and property prices.
Our society relies on food, fuel and critical parts to keep functioning. We are not that far from anarchy should all trucks stop long enough, say a month or less.
Just like in Florida after a hurricane when people are lined up waiting on water, supplies and fuel. When the truck pulls in people cheer like a Friday night football game. Then the next week we're jerk offs again.
Let's just park it for one week and see what will happen Base pay will go up to 65 to 75 c even a dollar per mile for the experience truckers Free health insurance including dental and vision , first day of employment Guaranteed retirement plans Eld and these Gestapo regulations will ease up Lot of good resolve will benefit all truckers in a long run I may be dreaming but that day is coming Just unite for god sake. Ask your self when you laying down in your bunker in that metal coffin Take a look around you Ask you your self is it worth it
Keep up this kind of posting and you'll be labeled a snowflake. You must work tirelessly, for no more than mileage pay, and be proud of that. Seem sarcastic? It's been put to text on this forum by some of the good little worker drones that frequent here who have little tolerance for those who think.
