In case you didn't know, those are actually CNG daycabbers. (Compressed Natural Gas)

I personally have always liked the look of a 'coffin' sleeper. I only drive 30-45 minutes at a time now bc I have 4-5 stops a day. But when I did the 550 mile runs, I WISHED that I had one of those tiny sleepers. I used my 30 minute lunch and two alotted 15 minute breaks to sleep. I'd let the air out of the seat and lay a travel pillow against the window which sucks in a daycab.

I didn't have a 1*12 coveralls. I used my lunch box between the seats and a roll of paper towels. Oh and truck shut off after 3 minutes and it was cold out. I don't miss meeting drivers for swaps. Lol.

Yea, that's not a sleeper. But it would be tiny if it was!

that looks more like a drone box, for storage of accessories for the job.

Depends on the company and the situation. Our daycab drivers log Line 1 on all live loads/unloads longer than 45 minutes, that don't require driver assist. DOT has never said a word. We also carry a note signed by the company giving us permission to log line 1 for meal breaks.

ok. but i have seen some moving van-lines tractors with nearly the same looking box, they called it a drone box, to store away the many items they need for moving, as some times they switch out trailers, and don;t want to lose what they have bought.

i worked for a very brief time at Allied Van Lines, that's where i had seen them, as well as for a short time, i worked for North American Van Lines.

Veriha Trucking has something like that. Pictures on the website, but I don't know what it's for.
