Nope. It's not a "lightweight" either. The angle is deceptive. They have a smaller air deflector.

The red pete is a 384. They also run the Freightliner Cascadia and Columbia. All are speced with a short hood and 48" sleeper. This is our regional intermodal tractor. Speced the same as Prime's lightweight Cascadias.

I'm ok with it. I only stay out 5 days a week, home every friday and saturday. I'd hate it if I were out more than that. Nonetheless, I do miss my 386 with a 70" sleeper.

I see those going up and down Hwy 13 in Missouri. I thought they were just trying to give broke drivers a cheaper truck to buy.

Prime also has a lightweight International Prostar. Saw one this week in Hesperia.

Those "baby 8's" are NOT what Prime uses.....

The Prime trucks are 386's with 48" flat top sleepers... you drive and sleep... how much room do you need? If your ### is wider than 48" join the circus.

    Boardhauler and Logan76 Thank this.
