We all have different sense of style, I like a stretched out Pete to a certain extent. Thing is if you are not having to ride it don't worry with it is my thoughts

I never really cared for a long wheel base. My 379 is 265 and that is plenty. Longer wheel bases do ride smoother, but in my opinion thwy are not practical. There will be a lot of places that you won't be able to get in to, and if you it will be a ba@! Buster

How does one starch out a cabover? Are irons involved, and if so where do you find an ironing board big enough?

If you wash a starched out cabover in cold water, does it shrink?

What if you starch out your cabover, then realize you missed the creases? Do you do it over, or run it for a week as is?

These are important questions we need answers to before the rest of us start starching out our cabovers!

I would think the starching would lead to itching! We even have a thread on here somewhere about what to do about "jock itch." Can't imagine a thread about "cab itch!":biggrin_2559:

So there is no overall length limit on a tractor and a box , does that apply to a flat bed also?

If the overall trailer length is limited to 59 feet why don't you see any trailers longer than 53?

each state is different, the front of your motor carrier atlas gives you limits for trailers, some states there are no overall length limits as long as your trailer is 53'. Some states do allow longer trailers, my company trailer is 54' 6" long, a 3 axle hydraulic detach rgn that can also accept a stinger. Empty I am 78' with my 5th wheel as far forward as can go, also have a 4 axle peterbilt. But each state had own rules for lengths and what is allowed
