Lately in Texas I have seen a bunch of new 3rd party carriers hauling Schneider trailers everywhere. Just today I saw 4 MVT Meselia Valley hauling our trailers south on I35 between Dallas and Austi.n
What is going on ?

I wonder if we lost an account and we had to get our trailers out of their facilities
-
Maybe Schneider doesn't have enough drivers.I drove for a small company that sometimes hauled for CRST and Schuster .Then kb has hauled transam and Hirscbach trailers.
-
Probably loads from SNI logistics that were not able to be covered by SNI drivers.
-
Maybe older sni trailers. There b alot of them in Texas Mexican drivers love our trailers
atruckr Thanks this. -
actually, I was thinking they might be trying to get the trailer pool balanced out and the only way to do that is with 3rd party carriers on one way trips. Just a guess, but it makes some sense to me.

Dope loaded trailers????? Just kidding.
-
I have seen Roadrunner trucks bringing in loads and picking up empties out of Mccalla,Al, also. Schneider must have more loads than we can handle ourselves.
-
One email I got last month is the Charlotte is turning down like 500 loads a day due to lack of driver availbilty.
