What is Involved in Taking a DOT Physical

If its your 1st D.O.T physical and your between the age of 45-50 they are gonna put on a rubber glove and check your prostate. JUST PLAYING

I just has mine done today.

There was a drug test done for THC (pot), COC (cocaine), PCP, OPI (opiates), AMP (amphetamines), according to the form I'm looking at right now.


I need to get a sign-off from my own doctor stating that I don't get drowsy and fall asleep because I take an SSRI for anxiety before I can get my DOT card.

 

I didn't do either. Just bending, stretching, pushing.

THANKS FOR CLARIFYING THAT THERE IS NO PROSTATE CHECK EVEN AFTER I SAID I WAS PLAYING SOMEBODY MUST HAVE KEYED UP THE RADIO AND YOU MISSED THE LAST PART. DUH

 

Last physical I took they had is walk for 5 minutes on a treadmill.

Also they have been measuring neck sizes and only giving strict 3 month certs. Pending sleep study.

 

I get a DOT physical every 3 months. Not because I have to, I just like the hernia test.
