What is it called? :Fith wheel grease question

Grease gun. Put a plastic bag over the tip. But the grease eats the bag over time.

 

I wish they'd sell them with some sort of cap already. It's 2021 ffs lol.

 

Exactly. Another thing someone mentioned the other day. Why do new socks come in a resealable bag, but not potato chips??

 

I agree it should come with it.

 

I carry two tubes of red high temp grease.

1) Put on gloves.
2) Take plastic cap off tube.
3) Find a stick.
4) Splooge some on 5th wheel. Nearer the back, both sides.
5) Throw away stick.
6) Put plastic cap back on tube.
7) Wipe tube clean.

Repeat as necessary for rest of career.

 

Learn to lower your airbags before you pull out, and wait to inflate them till your under the trailer and you wont make a big mess all over the front of the trailer, grease will last a bit longer.

 

Socks that are not being actively worn will spoil, and you don't want to wear socks that are moldy or rotten.

I just order a couple of tubes of lube grease off Amazon, what ever is cheaper.

 

No you got it wrong put the grease in the sock, then just toss it on the 5th wheel..... The grease will slither thru the threads. feels so good on the toes.
