    Good luck!
    If you can find a small family owned type of temp service they should put you on.
    The folks i drove for were really great to work with.
    No forced dispatch and i got to drive for several different places.
    It was hourly pay and most was drop and hook or no touch loads.

    I told them i had not been on the road for a couple years and they did not have a problem with it.

    I really don't think too much has changed. Some drivers will say that it has gotten worse. One nice thing is now you have satellite radio! That to me really changed driving! Oh yeah, and you can get the little flat screen tv's instead of the big bulky ones now. Overall though I don't think you are going to be shocked by any real major changes of the industry.
