What is it with DEF pumps?

    I have found that if I hold the nozzle upside down it has no problem pumping the DEF at full blast. At any other angle it shuts off every couple of seconds.

    It operates under the same basic principle as the diesel pumps. However, the DEF pumps seem to break at 50x the rate of diesel pumps. Clearly the nature of DEF liquid and the crusties that form on them are more important than people dropping pumps.

    The best DEF dispenser I ever used was the one I set up at one of my oilfield jobs. Gravity fed out of a tote that was sitting on top of another tote.

    u don't need $4 gallon def because you pay $4 gallon extra in 50% mpg
