What is % of engine load readout

Yes, but I read one time that this was a maximum value that it could display.. I think it might have been underpsi who wrote it. Something to do with the ecm. It could be putting more boost, but not showing it. Also, I am still running the small stock turbo, which would limit boost. Haven't quite felt ready to
dump $2400 into a new turbo. Also, I guess maybe I'm a little concerned that if I did upgrade the turbo, and the boost psi, is there a possibility of doing damage by putting more strain on this engine, with some 26,000 hrs. on it now? I don't know the previous rebuild history if any, of it. I have had it for only 3 and 1/2 years.

With more boost, if you have a restrictive exhaust system, you could crack the exhaust manifold due to the increased back pressure. And if it's tuned properly, you should not have any problems. I highly doubt that the boost is capped to 34psi on the readout. Unless the waste gate opens up at 34psi.
