I might get a can of that and put it to the REAL test. Will it shine up a 1990 Subaru with a now-dull red finish that sits outside day-in and day-out???

Turtle Wax does a nice job, but lordy -- that's work! :biggrin_2559:

The only paint I use it on is my bike. It is the only thing I have used on it. I got the bike new. My wife is on her own. I don't know what she does to her car except tear it up!:biggrin_25523: I wash, my bike and big truck at home if I did not hit a blue beacon or yard. My 2 pick up trucks get washed when it rains!:biggrin_2556:

S100 Detail & Wax. It works great. About $9.00 per air-a-sol can. You can find them at most Harley dealerships. Just spray on and wipe off with a terry cloth rag. It even takes the bugs off in most cases. If the bug is still there use windex then repeat that area with S100 detail & wax

I've had good luck with the green Intimidator Pro Polish. If you keep up with the polishing you should be able to do 6 wheels and two tanks in about an hour and a half. I use this stuff in the winter because I can polish in my driveway not matter the temperature. In the summer I use the Wizards polish that comes in the band aid can because I get a better shine, but it takes twice as long to use this stuff and it doesn't seem to work as well if the temps are below 50.

It's getting hard to find, but the best polish I've used is Smithbrite Ultimate Metal Polish, very good shine with not a lot of work. Speedy All Metal Polish is pretty good too and very easy to work with.
