Recently started my own authority and wanted to know what is the best load board for power only. I can’t afford a trailer at the moment, but I wanted to start power only then work my way.

Amazon relay, Convoy, Uber freight, Coyote...
Good luck and don't haul cheap freight!aussiejosh, Crassius and feldsforever Thank this. -
Am trying to make the best out of it I rather sit at home then take cheap freight. I know there other load boards that you have to pay forCrassius and feldsforever Thank this.

DAT & ITS. Pay for those and now you have thousands of options instead of just the handful of freebie loadboard options posted above. Don’t dick around with the cheap versions either. Get ITS Pro or DAT Power and you'll have less bugs and ghost loads that everyone on the $40 boards complains about. They're more expensive but worth the extra money imo.
aussiejosh, Midwest Trucker, Speed_Drums and 3 others Thank this. -
How has the truck been? I remember when you got it.

Amazon has a lot of good spot loads available- only issue is you have to be in the right place at the right time.
Example

JB hunt and Schneider have power only loads. 1.50-2.50 a mile. #### rates. Grab an old van, or even an old reefer(to use as a van) for your first year.

I ended up selling that truck, it was very reliable. It was a heavy spec and I was using it for dry van, so I sold it and recently bought me a 2003 W900 with a cat 6NZ I will post pictures once it’s ready to roll just painting frame and doing those little things.Speed_Drums Thanks this.

Man that’s what I would love to do, but at the moment there’s nothing within my area that’s worth buying, I been checking auctions and everything is through the roof. But I was doing a couple of runs paying 4 dollars a mile power only. I don’t move my truck unless the load is worth it. I rather stay with kids then do thatSpeed_Drums and Brettj3876 Thank this.

Facebook marketplace. Make sure you have cash in hand. People post there daily. Also educate yourself on what parts of trailers go bad.Adamali21 Thanks this.
