1300 gross sounds low for your experience and doing oversize. 2 year former crst driver makes 1400 with JB Hunt doing western regional. How is dry van not where the money is?
-
Yeah, and I've only been with my company for 4 months, still working my loads up, and it's in the time of the year where open deck loads drop off. The end of October I was averaging 1800 a week. That was when I switched over to my salary pay because load frequency was dropping off, and I knew is be getting home more. Our drivers average about 65,000 for a full year, or highest earning driver made 121k last year as a company driver.

Doing that at hunt isn’t out the picture but as a regional driver it is . Now if it’s a dcs Driver then yeah.
-
Let me guess, you're quoting the recruiter you spoke to on the phone right?
-
121?? On what pay structure?
-
Percentage, he's the most senior driver and drives a quad axle Coronado.
-
I see.. I looked into over dimension and all the companies in the Atlanta area don’t pay #### guys make 50k-60k if they are lucky
-
We have 2 pay structures, straight percentage, or guaranteed salary at $1000 a week. The salary pay is still paid on percentage, but anything you make overt is paid at the end of the month, and you'll never make lies than $1000. Most guys use the salary in the off months so they can budget.

Plus when you throw in our quarterly bonuses and yearly Christmas bonus, we do alright.
