The point is to extort you or of money by making you think they are providing you with a service that is less serving of the members and more serving of your union leaders pockets.
My advice, run.A_C_Cooper, MidWest_MacDaddy, rabbiporkchop and 3 others Thank this. -
They just took $750 outta my pay check in less than a year. If there's no pay increase after this year I'm quitting the job, but the word is the pay will be $4-5 bucks higher soon so I'm waiting

Maybe you should start organizing your fellow employees in an anti-union movement?
Also in an anti-abusive-employer movement at the same time.
A little organization and a call to the local TV news station might go a long way. -
Dont take the job, ain't that hard. If they pay for crap, go elsewhere. Problem solved.
De Trucker, MidWest_MacDaddy, Canned Spam and 1 other person Thank this. -
There is a process called desertification, the official way to remove a union.

Quit playing us all a fool ok? You know you aren't quitting, trying to make it sound like the sun wont rise come tomorrow....

somebody told me there are pluses to being in a Union
Good Pay....which is why I make less than non-union people who do the exact same job...much less
Good and free Benefits.....I have to buy the crappy benefits the company provides...that I can't afford to buy
Allowed to be Lazy....they fire us if they catch us being lazy
Good Work Conditions....which is laughable, the working conditions are terrible -
Just quit bro. Problem solved!
MidWest_MacDaddy, bottomdumpin and Chinatown Thank this.
