what is this call?

first time I heard them release on my first air ride , I thought something broke.

they released with such a big BANG!!!

 

It also took me awhile to figure out what the bang was.

 

I went to the shop and we crawled around for awhile to figure it out . lol

 

You got all the functionality right, except it's not called dock support. If I go to the part store tomorrow and ask for dock support, that won't pop up.

 

But what is it called though?

 

Not sure what the actual name for it is then... That's what we call it in our company shop. Any good trailer repair shop should know exactly what its called if you show them a picture.

 

I took it to the shop, they couldn't find a name for it too. will take it to parts shop on Monday. I wish I can figure out the name for real.

 

Maybe call a major trailer manufacturer or dealer.
