We recently bought a cascadia 113 from ryder used truck sales. I believe this truck was used to haul tripple food distriputing trailers such as sysco/usa foods. I have noticed this secound plug is on the truck. What is this plug used for?

Some have a separate plug for non abs trailers.

If you don’t plan on using the rear plugs or airlines I’d suggest getting them removed .. it’s just extra places for air leaks and electrical shorts …
Coover, JoeyJunk, D.Tibbitt and 1 other person Thank this. -
Looks like there's a pintle hook and air line connections there also.Probably set up to hook up a dolly directly to the tractor to be able to move it.

The yellow is for a extra cable to run extra trailer accessories. Lights, dump valve, lift axle, etc.
-
That what I’d normally think.,,but it’s on the rear frame of tractor
I’m quite sure North Pole is correct....it’s for a pigtail to pull a dolly -
I got that auxiliary plug on my tractor. Need to remove all that stuff.Magoo1968 Thanks this.
