Do you have a driver wage figured into that number? If not, then you are running similar numbers to what was discussed. The original poster had added a 30 cpm driver wage into the figure.

No wage this was the number we came up with to see if there was even going to be any money for a driver and we have every thing Figuerd in so we went ahead and started the company. And no we r not hiring any one we drive our own trucks.

With this Break Down and its a Realistic Breakdown as its the same i follow...I wouldnt touch a load Now for under a $1.80..with the way times are and half of that would fit right into this quote.. and add to this quote Workers Comp and Health Insurance and 1.03 is somewhere between Lost and None...thehornet Thanks this.

some will include a FSC... Just make sure their not cutting into the pay part to cover the FSC... some will try to get away with that crap...thehornet Thanks this.

Why not peg a wage at 30 cpm? Sure, it's a pathetic wage for a company driver. That's not the point imo. I live in a low cost, no income tax state and can pay all household expenses and then some with that $30K. It helps not having a mortgage and car/toy payments. The profit above and beyond that "30 cpm number", after taxes and other expenses, increases it above and beyond what you planned as a minimum.
