Type in "gigaware gps dash mount" on google. It's nice and heavy.

The garmin dezl has 4 stars. Thats the one I'm eyeballing, but you dont take use them verbatim. The rand mcnalley road atlas should be used as well, get the laminated one. The gps is usefully because you can reroute if needed or compare different routes. If one route take longer than another one, you can save your clock by taking the smarter one.

Forget the reviews, once you try a truck specific GPS you will be sold. I swear at my rand McNally sometimes but if it died tomorrow I would have a new one before the day was out.

Google maps is great for getting a satellite view of where you are going but some of those images are outdated and what may look like a wide open lot could have new fencing or structures built since the sat image was taken.i mainly use it to cross check the GPS routing. Basically make sure isn't sending me the long way unnecessarily. You don't ever want to rely on it for a routing though.

Biggest waste of money so far has been a trucker atlas.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was his GPS that actually told him to drive there.

I've read online where car gps sent car drivers into the ocean lol so yeah I bet too. Technology is good but definitely doesn't replace your brain and.common sense.

Try dual lock hook and loop scotch transponder tape for almost all attachment need..they come in 2 different weight classes. I believe it's 5 and 10 lb.
