Yep, RAT division is hard on the mpg. Those darn mountains all the time. 2007 truck and can only maintain 6.1 mpg and have a 6.0 OOR.
Ya even the hills through MO are tough on MPG. But nothing is worse than running up and down 77 all week with a detour on 19 thrown in just for fun. Ihope I get one of the new trucks with the smaller motor. Should be able to hit it out of the park with that set up.
7.03 13.8 oor RAT pack 2012 truck with 107k miles. I think we should include our truck year and mileage on this equation... It has alot to do with it...
I'm sorry. I should have put in the make and model of truck - 2005 Mack Vision coffin cab. Also, sorry for being persnickety about oor. I'm just a company driver and I have to answer for crazy OOR stats. I am around 5% OOR or a little less.
Until they get a replacement for Graylin, I am on the trainers board. Found out I am second on the board for fuel mileage a distant second behind Sarge.....But I also found out that the average for trainers is about 6.9
which is retarded, trainer trucks should not be held to the same requirements as a solo truck. also, I was RAT division while I was at Maverick, and never had a problem with fuel mileage (in 4 different trucks, 2 07's and 2 12's). You just have to figure out what works best for you and your truck in different terrains. I ran through WV so much, I pondered purchasing a house there, lol!
