yeah, about the mpg.. no offense plz.. but when you run mountains all week long, your truck averages 5 active faults a week, you run through traffic like NY, Bronx and queens, and you report issues of engine problems, I'm going to say I am lucky to maintain a 6.5 mpg average. You can short tank it, tell me to run 55 mph ( I run 58, normally)when unloaded to increase. Keep track between fueling, use my cruise control more/less...and at the end of the day..when your lifetime miles when you take over a truck is at 5.85 mpg...yeah its going to be hard to get the mpg you want. oh and yes I informed my FM, but they work you into a shop in route, ...oh whats another level 3 regen...just keep driving ..if it shuts down we will worry about it (per fleetnet) I love my job, its fun, always changing but seems to me, they need to practice a little more pro-active approaching on their truck.

    19 oor 7.1 mpg
Keeping in mind I live in nc, run a lot of mountains, and short haul is pretty much all I do! So the interstate is where I stay for two reasons, time and mpg! Also, if I'm within 200 miles, I go home on the weekend. Ive been told by a former driver of the year that if Ur on time, have no freight claims and good mpg, maverick doesn't complain about oor. So far, that is been true.

driving through city traffic like you do and all the mountains I would say a 6.5 is not that bad. Averaging five faults per week what's going wrong with the truck?
As far as regens I have yet to have my truck do one I have 180,000 miles on it so far. I asked about it in the shop and I was told since my idling the engine is that less than 1% it probably won't.

Now if I could go west instead of east....I could bring that up a lil faster. Seems like I've been in RAT division lately.
