I'm assuming hood truck running 70+ mph? Smooth looking rides but I couldn't sleep at night knowing I get 4-5 mpg. I would have quit far sooner than February. I was at $0.33 a mile in 2021 and prices just kept getting higher and higher and FSC wasn't keeping up.

My last truck I got around 8-8.5ish
Fuel with discount was around $2.50
So that’s $0.32 at 8mpg. I figured $.035
Now I’m paying around $4.60 - $5.25
Different truck that’s getting 6.5 - 7ish
At $5.00 per gallon and 6.75 That’s $0.74
But the rates have gone up more than that $0.35-.40 per mile
Sure. Everything else has gone up but again. Rates for now are covering the increase’s and f need be I can either run more or cut back on the frivolous things in life to steady any rocking boat
The ones with a possible no wiggle room will be the ones affected the mostSiinman, Rideandrepair and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
$0.68 at 7.0 MPG
