ok I got a new scariest time, last night...

empty tanker running a hundred miles through the fog on icy 2 lane roads in Iowa. That took 4 1/2 hours instead of 2.

couldn't get over 30 without the drives coming loose... and couldn't see for doodie out front anyways.

two four wheelers following me, so I stopped to get coffee and let them by... they pulled in also and wanted to know how far the fog went..lol

askin the wrong fella... so they followed me some more until I turn off to home.

made me laugh... following me... like I know what I'm doing???? hahahaa

Yep, I've had that happen before. By the same token, when I was a newbie, I was running through either downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul (can't remember which--been a long time) and thought to myself, "Wow, this is odd. There are no traffic lights."

Just about that time, a car went whizzing through the intersection directly in front of me. I about crapped myself--it was then I noticed that the traffic lights were mounted up on the corners of the buildings--not over the intersections. I came to realize that I had probably ran through every redlight downtown.

As I think back, it must have been some sort of holiday or something because the traffic was real light for the middle of the afternoon... thank god.
