A former driver dispatcher made me a happy little driver. If they were asking a lot of me, they knew they were and the payback would come. Those non-driver dispatchers just suck, they're too clueless about, well, everything....

One thing I've learned, is I really appreciate much simpler things in life now
While a nice facility 'can' be found at some of the truckstops around the country, taking a nice long HOT shower in your own bathroom makes me happy!
While cell phones and WiFi help keep me connected to those I love at home, it doesn't beat turning into the drive and giving a quick yank on the airhorn cable, then watching the wife and kids come running out to greet me. This REALLY makes me happy!!!
Then there's the accessories in the truck that help pass time and increase my happiness. The 22" flat panel HDTV with the PS3 hooked to it (thanks to my son for giving up the PS3 and settling for the PS2 at home). The stash of junkfood that I don't have to buy at 3x's the price in the truckstops. -
other than that the reason i like it more than, well, anyone i have ever talked to is i dont have a family, debt, or anywhere better to be. so i enjoy myself for the most part.
so with my mailorder bride and probably just more easy drop and hooks and it would be as close to prefect as you could get. i would say more money but i think you said realistic answers
