Verison does have a very good coverage but they have gone down hill in my book since I came off the road. To keep my self busy or my mind busy I was playing an online game, and my bill reached as high as 412.00 one month. But since you will be trucking your usage will not be as high.

It's funny how I became a Boost fan and subscriber. I was with Sprint for a couple of years and switched to Nextel as most of the guys in my department used it. After some ridiculously high bills (Do to my now ex sharing my plan) a friend suggested the switch to Boost, which essentially was Nextel, only under the Boost moniker.
Had the same service, no problems and a set monthly price.
Today, I still am a subscriber and pay 50.00 a month. I get 3g/4g service, unlimited talk, text and web, no roaming charges and pay an extra 5.00 a month for wifi on my HTC 4g phone (It doubles as a hotspot) and the internet service is great. I don't have to rely on wifi locations either.
Only thing with them that is a real pain (And my only complaint) is trying to reach a live person in customer service, if and when when you need them. Other than that, I'm happy with the service. -
Verizon and AT&T are both excellent choices so greedy me I've got both. My wife and i share the various plans with our various gizmos. Verizon on my iPhone and I've got their separate Jetpack module when needed, especially for my laptop. Works great and I have AT&T built into my iPad2 in order for me to google map my way around the country or find the next obscure receiver, that I'd never find through the Rand McNally. But Verizon does have more national coverages. I just like to have more than one option.
good luck. -
Yeah they do. You can talk to anyone w/ a wireless phone for free and only use minutes when talking to land lines. If you need to hotspot they have 2 options 2gbs for $19.99 or 6gbs for $49.99. I like that you can add the hotspot on when needed takes about less then 5 min to be available and turn it off when you want durng the month and then you're only paying prorated charges for it vs the entire amount.

Or you use one of the many free wifi hotspot apps like FoxFi (if its still around and you have a free hotspot)Dirts_oldlady88 Thanks this.

This has been asked and answered....
Verizion has best coverage but, is expencive
Sprint has crappy coverage, but is unlimited
Milenicom uses the Verizon network, but is much cheaper. 70/month for a 20gb data plan. Basically you get verizion coverage, but milenicom customer service and price. I get signal everyware and its pretty fast. -
Arkansas Frost and yearziro Thank this.

Service Quality:
Verizion best in most areas
AT&T second to verizion in most areas, although it pulls ahead in a few areas
Sprint/nextel Sucks if not in major citys
All other carriers worth using really just use one of those networks. Sprint is the cheapest for the most data, but service sucks. -
Yes sprint is still unlimited and the best behind verizon but verizon is expensive depends on how much you want to pay
