My apu also runs 10-12 h a day and the mpg is based on what's displayed on dash over 5 months period. When I started driving this truck in May it was showing 5.8 after 2 or 3 months 5.9 and since few days ago shows 6 mpg.
And 6 mpg is my best in my 2 year career over which I probably drove something like 10 trucks.
What mpg should I be getting?

I am a company driver so I don't have time nor will to calculate it by hand as I don't really care.I was just thinking since I improved mpg by 3.45% I could ask for some extra money, you can call it fuel bonus or a rise-).
-
Only reason I check periodically (all my fuelings go into a personal app I've created) is that we get a multi-tier fuel bonus each quarter and I like to make sure my numbers and their numbers match up.
-
I see, yeah if there was something for me to gain I too would be making sure numbers match up .
-
-
No.I am dead serious.Why?
-
To the point from before the rise, yeah I would be fine with that.I was more thinking like $200 bonus or something.I am there for the money so every little bit helps.
Anyway,I already asked and they weren't thrilled with this idea.Ruthless Thanks this. -
Do you blame them?
Remember you were the one who gave the impression that speed is only means to more money, screw the fuel costs.
