since you HAVE a local job, why give it up for the inconvenience of OTR, and not get home on a regular basis....???
your pay where you are now can only go up, you can only move to another company easier, that DOES OFFER more money, why give up that...??
many others would KILL to get what you have and you want to throw it away...??
what will you do when you want to go back local, and there are NO jobs...???
i think screw the OTR, you got it made in the shade right now.
that in house OTR job will come up, and you WILL NOT be there to grab it...talk about kicking yourself in the @zz..... -
Yeah, I think you will be kicking yourself if you give up your local gig!
You are experienced, just not over the road experienced. This should still count as experience unless they are specifically asking for over the road experience. When I had gotten a job over the road they counted my local driving for experience. Why wouldn't they?
