Recently purchased a factory day cab 379 and the original seats pretty wore out. I would like to replace it with something with a thin back so it can recline a little and would like a low pro suspension. Been looking at legacy silver as dealer has them on special. Thanks in advance.

It's personal. My uncle got a great deal on his seat. He told me it was a $1,000 normal price. He loved it. I didn't like it as much as the cheap National Seat I had gotten for my old FLD daycab.

Check your local Peterbilt dealer for brand new takeouts.

If the truck comes in with factory seats and someone buys the truck but once upgraded seats they take those out and put them in the back warehouse you might be able to pick one up cheap.

IvI' got an old 379 small sleeper opening, bought a legacy seat as it was quite comfortable, in my Volvo, however in Pete I was bent over as not enough cab room to lean back. Took it out and got a bostrum near identical to the original only doesn't have plastic cover on rear of seat back to protect cloth if it does rub as original seat, it appeared small but is comfortable and about only one that will fit I believe
