And another thing. Lots of trucks today have dash cams. You have to guess how a jury would look at an intentional and unnecessary hard brake if there was a significant injury or death occur, where the incident is recorded in HD video. Do you want to be recorded willfully and with malice, endangered others because you take issue with their driving habits?
Just make sure there is someone documented in front of you so if the worse happened and you end up defending yourself in court, you can at least try and allege the car in front of you stopped or slowed abruptly.
Often just a light application of brakes (stop lights) will get many to back off.
What should I do about being tailgated

I spoke with a driver that worked for my company for 4 years because he had a bad mvr said no one else would hire him. Carolina eastern was not a dirt ball company, they were just crushed by constant rain
born&raisedintheusa Thanks this. -
Carolina Eastern is basically a seasonal work company. Not a good place for a steady, predictable income if you're trying to raise a family.
Lepton1, born&raisedintheusa and Broke Down 69 Thank this. -
I like the job itself and think I found my niche, just not at this company. Btw i just met the truck boss for serafini at the job I'm on. He is driving a dump truck. Told me to call the office. Cool.
