There is a shortage of drivers... a shortage of good, safe responsible drivers.. wno can deliver on time, take care of their equipment and themselves, not get tickets, violations , accidents and can park in a reasonable time...
You know, a question I would ask myself if no company would hire me.. is do I wa t to hire.. which wnen you are an O/O you are your own boss.. but you are also your own employee...
Being an O/O is a big responsibility... just do not think it is a god idea to become an O/O because you cant get hired by many companies...
What should I do ?

Listen ...when I was asking this question, it wasn't for guys like you. So am not sure why you even wasted your time responding...I asked for experienced drivers to give me their input not negative people like you

You need to find a company driver job. You do not have nearly enough money to own a truck , especially to go independent. Furthermore, you may not even find an insurance company to insure you. And if you do , it would cost a fortune. Hopefully, some of the tickets will drop off soon. I see companies advertising for 3 or less moving violations in last 3 years. Also, the type of violations may be a problem with some companies. Good luck and don't get any more tickets.

Minor infractions are much different than I killed a bus full on Nuns. Moving violations are just that. You messed up & got caught. You would get eaten alive if you tried to become an O/O. You don't have it yet. Keep the 5K & find a job at another co. You have too much in a hurry issues. Have a dear friend I won't get in a car with. Get to where ever he wants to go in 10 seconds or less. Slow down you made it 9 months. This is not a race. Leave the game room alone, don't try to date every waitress you see, & focus on your skills. And for God sakes don't wear a belt buckle that is as big as a hub cap.
