DO NOT EVER PUT YOUR TRUCK ANYWHERE YOU CAN NOT SEE YOUR WAY OUT.

If you are not sure, pull the brakes and go look, walk the way you want to go. It's better to get a parking ticket than a tow bill or a preventable accident. Good Luck

For a lot of us that grew up there and have driven in the city on a regular basis, you automatically become an offensive driver instead of a defensive driver, sorta like a football game.

Unfortunately in NYC there are many times you have to pull down a street that you are not sure if you can get out... it happens... I remember having to pay a guy 20 bucks to help me back down a street that was land locked...

Realize that in the NYC area there are a LOT of exits off highways that DON'T have an exit to get back ON THE HIGHWAY!!!

If you are on the BQE do not pay any attention to the sign that says all trucks over 12'9(?) exit. Its the one sing that can actually get you in a mess if you pay attention to it. I don't like recalling the experience of how I know that :biggrin_2559:

What do you need to know? The Lord's Prayer would be a good start. :biggrin_25523:
