I clamped my TV down no drilling involved at all. I havent seen anyone else do that, not sure why not. I plan on adding additional shelves since these trucks do not optimize all of the extra space that can be useful. In fact I dont know why they dont have a track from the floor to the ceiling with removable shelves that I can place where I want to adjust for different sized items. That way I could have a shelf for the fridge, microwave, etc. covered with a net to keep stuff from flying out.

It cost money. Companies go cheap. You can buy additional shelfs for the cabinet or just Make them out of plywood.

My point is know the rules and reg. before you get all the good stuff. If you can balance your time to include both reading, and gaming then more power to you. It's just going to cost you time and let's hope that's all that is lost.

I'm curious to know how you mounted your tv. I know a 22 only weighs a couple pounds, but I'm not sure I would trust clamping a tv on an articulating mount in a shaking vibrating cab. I've heard of many tv's falling from poor securement in buildings which don't move much. would you be able to take a picture of your mount setup?

what happens while you are competing at trucker rodeo's and all that shelving on one side makes the rig you drive lean?

okay, joking aside.the clamping down that you do is going to not hold one day as you hit the right bump in the road, hence the reason you have not seen it done thus far.you need to seriously mount your extravagant/leisurely amenities before that one bump in the road forces you to.just my opinion-

Back in the day when we had tube tvs I had mine securely strapped, well I thought till one pot hole turned it into a flying missile. Nailed the back of my drivers seat head rest. Cracked the case and that was it still works. If I had a low back seat I probably wouldn't b here.

I have a T660 and I will tell you that a 19" is the biggest that you will get in the TV slot. I have met a few people out on the road with 32" screens. They get a piece of ply wood and slide it between the bed and the wall and mount the TV to it with a wall mount kit.

There is an emergency door on the passenger side of the sleeper so you couldn't put it over there but that is the side where your cable is for the antenna for the TV. So, if you put a 32" in, you would have to run the cable from the right side wall all the way over to the left side wall. Plus, the cig lighters are on the right side as well. You're better off to just get a 19". I got one off of walmart's website for $125. Comes with built in digital converter and built in DVD.
