could be an engine lock out switch (disable switch)..
-
What did the company shop say when you asked them?
-
Turn the truck on. Wait for it to be normal ready to go. Turn the key and take it out. See what happens then. If I think it is what it is what with all the non conduction metal beef on there it should be big enough to kill the engine.
I dislike the DEF gauge on there. When are they going to install a payroll money that drops to nothing? When it's zero you know you might as well take off until the new workweek. No payroll for the week. -
That’s a safe for the employees paycheque

Well I appreciate everyones responses it does not lock out the engine and it is not a master switch of any kind it does nothing with the truck on and I'm still waiting for CFI to get back to me
-
It looks like a henway to me. I didn't know newer trucks still had them.

i know, i totally forgot in all honesty..
it's a "high horsepower" key..
like on the Dodge Hellcat engine cars..one key, you got like 500 horsepower, but use the other key, you get the full on 700 horsepower..
strap yourself in, you're gonna go for one helluva ride...
