What the heck is this?

    I remember using one back then. As I recall, the key lock feature on them was added so that if the Driver wanted to make a quick trip inside a convenience store, they could lock the CB in with the Key making it much more difficult to steal.

    Yep that was the idea...But a crowbar would still make quick work of it...So why bother buying and wiring up the bracket, if your not going to take the radio out like the bracket was designed for?

    A person with a crowbar can get in your ride, get your radio, and be gone within just seconds...and no one see's nothing....not sure that's that big a problem anymore tho...I've had two different vehicles broken into over the last 10 years in parking lots of stores, and both times the creeps took everything they could get their hands on, except for the CB's and Amp's which were actually worth allot more than what they took!
