What the hell is this???

    Found this plug below the turbo behind the water pump wires are all frayed and touching what it for what does it go to trying to replace it cant find anything about it. Detroit 60 12.7 2006 century. Can anyone tell me what this plug does or what symptoms it may cause please!

    In the second and third picture which are the same oops... Right below the barcode thing is where this clip is suppose to plug in and all the wires were exposed and touching

    I cut off one of the wires one was already dissconnected I was going to try and take apart and saulder back together
