    Lilbit, where your hubby get the hose. Does that hook to air tank?

    Get them at a truck stop. That hose hooks onto the glad hand at the end of either hose on the back of the tractor - preferably the red hose that supplies the trailer, with the truck running. Just unhook the line while you're parked, air up the tires. Hubby says it takes the first couple of times of use to get a good hang of it. They start at around $20 and go up to about $50.

    If you can afford it get the good rubber hose,...nothing worse than trying to coil up the cheap plastic hose to put it away......

    When my husband was first new, he found Post-It notes to be very useful. They were small enough to be stuck everywhere, but big enough for directions or reminders. Get the super-sticky ones, they stick better on all the surfaces in the truck.

    thats no doubt, i ran without a gps for my first year, i kept a company pad....but man that thing was always full of notes.
