I'm still trying to figure out how she was working for over 20 years without a license.....most if not ALL companies require you to prove that you are licensed to drive the equipment, also they make a copy of your CDL license and your medical card.....just wondering....

Perhaps Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson can piece together the answer to this question.

I passed the test at the doctor's office for the physical and med card and the only problem I have is getting into a trailer without a step stool or hanging onto the doors. When I was at another company's orientation they wouldn't let me use the trailer door to get into the trailer even though I argued and said that's how its done on the road. Needless to say I did not get that job. I am still planning on teaming as I like teaming once I find a good company that I can get hired at...

My family owned a carnival and I didn't need a CDL for that...that's where the 20 years of driving came in..we just avoided the sccales

The last company that I drove for made me sign a waiver stating that I would never climb into a trailer unless I used a ladder or by the dock. Of course, I got the wink of approval

I took a flatbed agility test for Swift . Involved carrying a milk crate with I think it was 75 pounds in it about 30 feet and placing it on a shelf at about head level . had to do that 4 times .Then squatting down to simulate crawling under a low trailer and carrying the crate the 30 feet . I passed it then but being a small guy it was hard .
Drivers for other companies have said they had to pick up a rolled up tarp 130 to 140 Lbs off the ground chest high and place on trailer 3 or 4 times . Some said it did not matter how they got it on trailer as long as they could do it . this makes sense as OSHA says " work smarter not harder . Avoid injuries "
