In the blizzard of 93, this snowstorm hit the southeast. I was running up I59 when it hit. The interstate was shut down at the 459 loop. Traffic sat on the interstate for 3 days. There was no help. They shut the road down and everyone was trying to figure out what to do. I got off the road when the traffic was backed up to Tuscaloosa and got a motel.

I have the bunk heater but if the batteries die.....and if you werent idling theres a good chance your not getting it started again to idle and charge the batteries. I guess one option is to idle for a couple hours, shut it down for a couple hours then idle again and just keep it going.

Excellent idea (urban dictionary), also learned several years ago (the hard way) if you can only choose 1 between arctic sleeping bag and arctic coveralls get the coveralls, you can sleep in the coveralls if need be, but you can't get in your arctic sleeping bag and crawl under your truck/trailer and pound on frozen brakes, or walk to a place for safety/warmth.

i'm curious as to if markealy was in pehrump, nv. little over 2 years ago. waiting 2 days to get that concrete wall off for the jail that was being built. due to high winds so the crane couldn't unload the trucks.
